Programs

The First Tee of Fort Smith has developed several on-site and outreach programs to inject positive values, through the game of golf, into the lives of young people of all ethnicity and social strata. Since 1998, The First Tee of Fort Smith has reached over 50,000 young people in Western Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma.

Clubs 4 Kids

Since opening, we have given hundreds of FREE sets of golf clubs to kids thanks to many generous donations. This would not have been a success if it weren’t for the countless hours spent by volunteers of The First Tee of Fort Smith cleaning and repairing donated golf clubs and the donations of sets by manufacturers.

Birthday Parties

Have your birthday at The First Tee of Fort Smith and be Pro for a day. Your child and his/her friends can have a fun-filled party with all sorts of activities. Golf not the theme you're looking for? That's Ok too! We specialize in FUN! Follow the link on the events tab for more information.

Ladies Night Group Lessons

During the Spring, Summer and Fall The First Tee coaches will be introducing a ladies night group golf lessons. Cost is $10 per participant and they will receive a one hour lesson. Each week we will be teaching different skills.

Little Linksters

Designed for children age 3-4, classes. For a membership fee of $75 and a one time activity fee of $35, 3 & 4 year old children can get golf lessons as wells as learn life skills and core values through our program. We offer Spring, Summer and Fall classes for our little linksters (all included with the activity fee). After School

We have After School classes available throughout the school year. Clinics are divided in to two sessions (Fall & Spring). The classes run from August until November for Fall sessions and February until May for the Spring Session and the cost per Clinic is $35 with a current membership ($75). Disability Clinics

Designed to teach the kids with special needs to learn golf skills and basic rules and etiquette on the golf course. Summer Session I & II

Our Summer Session Classes are available in two different sessions. Each costs $35 with a current membership ($75). Session are for 5 weeks that will teach our life skills and core values through the game of golf. Each class is a hour and a half long except for the TARGET class and they only meet for one hour. Each class also meets three times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) for four weeks so they are getting 15 hours worth of lessons in a consistent format.

At Wolf Ridge Country Club young people in Le Flore County will have the opportunity to experience the Life Skills Curriculum that The First Tee teaches.
