Tee Up In Gym Class

In elementary schools in our community and across the United States, many students are teeing off for the first time thanks to The First Tee National School Program, bringing our curriculum to your child’s gym during physical education class. By teaching elementary students The First Tee’s Nine Core Values and Nine Healthy Habits, we’re putting them on the course to a healthy and active lifestyle.   The First Tee of Fort Smith goal is to reach every youth in our service area. The National School Program is a great opportunity for young people to learn The First Tee curriculum while they are in their physical education classes. The P.E. teachers are trained to teach The First Tee curriculum through activity based lessons. Each student will learn a golf lesson along with learning The First Tee Nine Core Values and Nine Healthy Habits. Currently all 19 Fort Smith Public School take place in the National School Program as well as Union Christian Academy and Parkview Elementary in Van Buren. https://www.youtube.com/embed/eLUKN26AeA8
